How to Reserve at Kirby Café
- Visit the Kirby Café official website and choose your desired location
Enter the official website and select a location. Click on the homepage, and you will see three options:

(2) Reservations are held for only 10 minutes.
(3) Reservations for the next month open on the 10th of each month.
- Confirm the Number of Guests and Date
Once on the reservation page, the system will display a calendar for the current month.

X: Fully booked.

Select the number of guests (1-6 people) and the date.
- Fill in Reservation Details (Can be in Chinese/English)
Name: It is recommended to use the “English spelling” on your passport for easy verification by staff.
Phone: You can use a Taiwanese mobile number, it works fine.
Email: Most important! The reservation confirmation will be sent here, so make sure it’s correct.
- Confirm Reservation Details and Receive a Number
The screen will display that the reservation is complete, and you will receive an email confirmation.
It is recommended to “screenshot” this screen and show it to the staff on the day of your visit to be seated, even if you don’t speak Japanese, communication will be smooth!

- Set an alarm: Be sure to set a preparation reminder for 16:55, as popular dates often sell out within an hour of release.

Visit to the Kirby Café in Fukuoka!
This time, I made a reservation to visit the Fukuoka branch. Compared to the popular Tokyo store, it’s much easier to book!
The entrance features a giant Kirby white plate design, along with Kirby and Waddle Dee plush toys.
Before being seated, the staff will take a photo of you at this themed wall at the entrance.
The Kirby Café in Fukuoka is located in Canal City Hakata, a shopping mall popular with tourists that features water shows.
Although it has fewer brands compared to LaLaport, the B1 level has many anime-related shops. If you love Japanese anime themes, you’ll enjoy browsing here (like me).
Details everywhere! The Kirby Café interior
The café interior features dark wood flooring and brick wall style, with framed pictures and plant decorations on the walls, creating a very cozy and cute atmosphere.
If you explore this shop carefully, you’ll see Kirby everywhere:
Whether it’s the giant anthropomorphic apple tree, Kirby dolls, Kirby totems on the walls, or doodles on the blackboard, every spot will delight fans and keep cameras clicking.
Perhaps because I was alone, I was lucky enough to be seated under the tree.
The artificial grass under the tree recreates the game scene, with giant apples and a Kirby figure ready to inhale, perfect for bringing your own toys for a photo shoot!
The “Kirby Car” in the photo above is a treasure I bought and unboxed right at Canal City Hakata B1.
It’s a limited edition design from the latest generation game, and I absolutely love it.
Super cute meals, and you can even take the plate home!
In cartoon or anime-themed restaurants, the food must have all sorts of cute elements, and the Kirby Café meals are no exception.
In addition to seasonal limited dishes that change every season, the most important thing is that with the “Special Meal“, you can take the cup and plate home!
Since I came alone, I didn’t order the most popular Kirby cake (afraid of wasting it if I couldn’t finish), so I ordered a matcha au lait and a burger meal.

Latest Kirby Café Menu: Fukuoka Store
I ordered a matcha au lait that comes with a take-home cup featuring illustrations from the Kirby Café theme, which is absolutely adorable!
Additionally, a Kirby-themed coaster is randomly included.
The cutest thing about the au lait series, besides the cup, is that you can have designs printed on the drink! There are so many options, it’s almost too cute to drink.
I chose the Kirby Burger, a simple burger with a patty, cheese, and lettuce. It’s quite standard, but the bun is pink with Kirby’s face printed on it, making it irresistibly cute!
It also comes with a small bowl of corn soup, a small portion of pasta, and star-shaped hash browns. The portion might not be enough for guys, but it was more than sufficient for me.
Towards the end of the meal, the staff brings a brand-new special edition tableware set to the table (not the one you’re using XD).
The total came to 5,346 yen, approximately 1,177 NTD, which is quite affordable. Given the food quality, it exceeded my expectations.
Of course, the main purpose of this trip was to buy gifts, so I also purchased some Kirby merchandise from the store, along with some Ichiban Kuji and capsule toys. Here’s a group photo of the loot!
Celebrate a Birthday at Kirby Café
If you want a special birthday experience,
then Kirby Café is also a great choice!
Simply check ‘Birthday’ when making a reservation and fill in the birthday person’s name.
On the day, when the staff brings out the dessert, the entire café will play Kirby’s birthday music, and all the staff will clap and celebrate together, creating a lively atmosphere (and a bit of embarrassment XD). It’s the best surprise for the birthday person!
Is Kirby Café worth visiting?
I think Japan’s themed restaurants offer an amazing experience, from the interior decorations and design, the background music during dining, to the series of meal designs and merchandise. It makes you want to take everything home, truly an impressive country!

The store does not require reservations to enter and purchase limited items (such as tableware, plush toys, cookies). However, if there are large crowds, “store tickets” may be issued to control entry.
In Osaka Tennoji, there is a “Kirby Café PETIT,” mainly offering “takeaway themed desserts” and selling related merchandise, with no seating available.
Only menu items marked with “スーベニア (Souvenir / 特典付)” can be taken away with brand new tableware.
You can take away: There will be exclusive new boxed items (usually at a higher price).
