It’s often fully booked on both weekdays and weekends. During our six-day trip to Cebu, we visited twice. The service quality is excellent, and the masseurs are skilled. The highlight is the rare 24-hour massage service in Cebu, perfect for passengers on red-eye flights.

Strong Korean vibes + Thai massage = A new fusion flavor
Tree Shade Spa is a Cebu massage operated by Koreans. You can feel the strong Korean style in both the exterior and interior decor of the massage parlor.

Upon entering, it feels like a small café with forest-themed decor and pink neon lights. It’s hard to imagine this is a Thai massage shop in the Philippines; it’s like a Korean-style café has been transported to Cebu.
However, once you pass through the front area and enter the massage zone, the style immediately shifts to a Thai vibe, a mix that feels seamless.
Tree Shade Spa has a rather large lobby, and since it is open 24 hours, many people come here for a massage before catching a flight. We even met Korean travelers organizing their luggage here. They also offer luggage storage services (not secured, but there is a small area at the back for storage), making it very convenient for travelers.
Tree Shade Spa Pricing
Although there are cheaper massage parlors in Cebu City, the Google reviews seem to vary greatly. To avoid any unpleasant surprises, we took a taxi straight to Tree Shade Spa as soon as we landed.
Upon checking the counter price list, a 60-minute essential oil massage costs 550P (about 330 TWD), roughly half the price of a massage in Taiwan.
The price list is divided into Basic Massage and Premium Massage, likely differing in the experience of the masseurs. Premium is serviced by masseurs with three years of experience.
Due to the recent rise in prices in the Philippines, the current rate for a Basic Massage (by a regular masseur) for 60 minutes is around 600P – 700P; Premium (by a masseur with over three years of experience) is about 800P – 900P.

Tree Shade Spa has two branches. We went to the one on Salinas Dr. Even though we arrived in the early hours, Tree Shade Spa was bustling, and we still had to wait an hour on-site.
Tree Shade Spa Essential Oil Massage Review
On the first day we arrived in Cebu, it was early morning. After a full day of work and a morning meeting, we took a red-eye flight. I was almost too tired to smile for photos. We chose a 60-minute essential oil massage, adding 200P for a shower and overnight rest (until 10 AM the next day)</strong></span>. I highly recommend this option. Even though it was just a short nap, it significantly improved my energy levels.
Before the massage, the therapist will wash your feet with sea salt and provide a “must-read manual,” which includes information about pressure levels, areas to focus on, changing therapists, and tipping.
The massage rooms are designed for two people, with a small basket provided for your belongings. For the essential oil massage, you will need to remove your top.
The therapists at Tree Shade Spa are skilled and efficient. The Thai oil massage starts from the upper body. I asked the therapist to focus on my shoulders and neck, and the kneading and tapping were spot on. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep in the middle. The final Thai stretches resulted in a lot of cracking sounds, relieving the tension from the flight.
Tree Shade Spa post-sun facial care + leg massage review
The second visit was on the last day before catching the flight. Initially, I planned to have a 1.5-hour full-body essential oil massage, but then I discovered they offer a post-sun facial recovery service. So, I opted for the post-sun facial recovery (60 minutes) + leg massage (30 minutes).
The facial massage room is larger than the regular massage rooms and even comes with a private shower.
This was my first facial massage. The therapist started with facial cleansing, followed by applying soothing and moisturizing serums. The technique was gentle, especially careful around peeling areas. The serums used were very mild, with no stinging sensation, allowing the sunburned skin to recover well. Finally, a warm towel was placed over the eyes, which was so comfortable that I fell asleep.
The cost of facial care is relatively high. Combined with a 30-minute leg massage, it totaled 1300P (approximately $780 TWD), but I found it quite worth it. After the session, the peeling improved significantly, which was quite amazing XD.

Actually, Tree Shade Spa is probably highly recommended by many. It’s a top-notch massage parlor in Cebu, loved by many tourists. The interior decor, environment, and the skill level of the therapists are all excellent.
Few people write about the post-sun facial care. This time, after diving for three consecutive days, I got an extreme tan. Visiting here for an emergency treatment was indeed much more comfortable, making it a place worth visiting.
